As Leroy got closer to the nightclub he was SURE that this was definitely the place to be tonight! The dance floor was packed with Sims, almost all the seats along the bar were filled and there was even a guest DJ from San Myshuno spinning beats further in. Leroy was pleased to see that the young, and old alike, had come out to party and mingle with each other, this Windenburg truly was unlike his previous town, that was for sure.
Leroy hip hopped, be bopped and got jiggy with the best of them, out on that dance floor, and when the crowd went wild pumping their fists into the air, so did he! At one point during the night, he even spotted Liberty Lee, but it was way to loud for any sort of conversation to be had, so he just flashed her a big grin, waved, and kept right on dancing. He was having so much fun and hadn't realized how long he'd been out, but when there was a break in the music, he leaned over to someone with a watch, and asked the time, he was stunned to learn that it was already 3:30 am!! Leroy decided it was time to head home, so he finished up the glass of iced water he had set on a table earlier, picked up a flyer that was sitting on the side of the bar, and walked out, leaving the still thumping music, behind.
Leroy caught just a few hours of sleep and he was up before 9:00 am. There were things that needed taken care of, general pick up and clean up of the house, disposal of trash that had accumulated and, of course, he'd have to tend to the growing garden, and then...music, definitely music! He had to hand it to Be Fit as a Fiddle Co. their new product, the Hitz Earbuds, were pretty sweet, and Leroy enjoyed listening to the electronica station for a couple of hours while he got things taken care of around the house.
*Sounds of a phone ringing*
"Hello?!"
"Oh hey Liberty!"
"Yeah that DJ was pretty sweet huh?"
"No, I'm not really busy, just enjoying some tunes, what's up?"
"Yeah sure! I'll meet u there! I picked up a flier about it at the nightclub last night, I was hoping to check it out! Doesn't seem like it'll be too hard to find."
"Okay, bye."
The Chalet Gardens, also known as The Von Haunt Estates seemed to be a place full of things to do and see. There was the mansion itself, which was more of a museum that could be toured, there was a lovely covered grill area, a romantic wedding arch with a grand piano, exquisitely landscaped gardens full of sweet smelling flowers, and even a hedge maze that led, well, Leroy wasn't sure! He didn't want to start poking round the estate until Liberty arrived, so Leroy closed his eyes and listened to the birds chirping in the trees, taking in the ambiance as he waited in the front courtyard.
"Boo!" said Liberty, breaking Leroy's daydreaming.
"Gosh, golly, you scared me, liberty!" Leroy said with a startled jump.
He wasn't usually so jumpy, but the words he had read on a plaque, about "paranormal activity," outside the mansion earlier, had got his mind wandering and being startled back into reality, by Liberty, had been a bit of a shock.
Leroy asked, "Where should we start?"
"Hmm...well, there's quite a bit to see...why don't we start with a tour of the mansion, at least check out the first floor!" Liberty suggested.
"Lead the way!" Leroy said with a smile.
