Chapter 12 - Round Two

Sadly, after the aggressive conversation with Marcus, Leroy's heart just wasn't into exercising anymore today and he was no longer motivated to even stay there at the Burners And Builders Gym anymore.  He tried to tough it out, convincing himself to pump a few reps, but after that, he decided it was time he head to The Roadstead for some shopping, so after a quick scrub in the shower, he was off.

When Leroy arrived at The Roadstead, there was a sign in the window stating that they were "out to lunch" and would return in one hour, according to Leroy's watch.  So Leroy had an hour to burn...what to do, what to do?!  It was just then that his stomach rumbled, it was probably time to grab a bite to eat, with all that exercise earlier he had worked up an appetite.  There were a couple of options in Magnolia Promenade, he could head to L'Attente and grab something there, or he could stop in at one of the barbecue pits and grill up some hot dogs.  L'Attente might have better food options, but thinking about "bumping into" the waitress from the other night when he wasn't in a good mood, might not be the best idea,  he headed for one of the grills by the river.
Sitting there alone on the picnic bench with the sun on his back, watching the fluffy white ducks paddling around in the water, and seeing the hanging tree branches swaying in the gentle breeze was JUST what he needed!  Leroy was just thinking to himself, what a romantic spot this would be in the moonlight when his cell phone beeped.
Liberty: I heard you have a secret admirer at the Romance Festival. Shall we go try to find them?
It had been a couple days since the debacle at the Von Haunt Estate party, so Leroy responded with an energetic "Yes!" and made his way to San Myshuno's Fashion District to catch up with Liberty, it looked like the shopping would be put on hold, or he could place an order online later.  There was the briefest of moments when Leroy wondered if Liberty's text had had a double meaning...SHE was there at the Romance Festival, after all...
Liberty welcomed him with open arms and a warm, friendly hug, much to Leroy's surprise.
"Hey Leroy, I wanted to talk to you about the other night...or rather...NOT talk about the other night," whispered Liberty.  "I think it would do us both a bit of good if we could just enjoy the festival and spend some time together instead of making things awkward again, you know?"
"Sounds like a plan, Liberty! Leroy said with a smile "Lets go grab a drink, I made a batch of hot dogs and had one just before you texted, and I didn't have anything to wash it down with, I'm parched!"
Everyone they came across was being lovey dovey and making googly eyes at each other, and after drinking a cup of the Sakura Tea they had in the drink fountains, Leroy was ready to do the same, but remembering what happened the other night and wanting to respect Liberty's wishes, he bit his tongue.

There was a Love Guru reading romance fortunes and giving romantic advice and when Liberty excused herself to use the restroom, Leroy thought it was the perfect time to get some answers...

I had a total computer crash and I had to reinstall The Sims 4 (losing all the saves I've been working on), so sadly Leeroy's story ends here...but I hope you enjoyed what you read!
